A study by Consumer Intelligence Research Partners provides valuable information on the ratio of sales you might be entitled to expect from the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. If China it seems that both models are sold at par, the situation is very different in the US since the iPhone 6 sales would count exactly 68% of the total sales of the iPhone (all models), leaving 24% for the largest model, which has already given the huge difference in size and price between the two models.
Cumulative, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus sales thus occupy 91% of the global iPhone sales, a figure never reached for a new model. The iPhone 5s, 5c no longer together account for 9% of the market for iPhone. This ratio in favor of the very latest Apple mobile ad undoubtedly impressive results since it is of course both iPhone 6 models that are offered to the highest tariffs, besides an impressive gross margin on each model.
Last year in the same period, sales of the iPhone 5s 5c and accounted for 84% of the total. The difference is even more sensitive than the 5c was not offered the same price as the iPhone 6 Plus, much more expensive.
