Wire Lurker is a virus that threatens the iPhone 6 and all other Apple smartphones.
Apple has always had a reputation as a fortress for viruses of all kinds, but why such a reputation? And first of many perhaps because hackers focused mainly on Windows, the operating system is more widely used in businesses or homes. If Windows virus does indeed have no effect on Mac, some hackers are now focusing on OS X. Result in 2012, the virus called "Flashback" had infected as many as 600,000 Mac. Wire Lurker does not install directly on your device but is built into Mac OS applications and passes when your iPhone is connected. What is the risk? Well, if your iPhone is not jailbroken, Wire Lurker can retrieve your serial number or the email address linked to iTunes. Not much in itself. But if you have jailbroken your device, it may be more serious with the recovery of SMS or data bank. However, this virus affects the moment like an App-Store based in China. Moral of the story: only download via the Apple Store. The iPhone 6 will be more popular than the Galaxy Note 4?
